MIXED MEDIA MONDAY - SOMETHING NEW!

I indeed have something new to share...two new and improved eyes! Yes, I have just had two Crystalens eye implant surgeries--one on May 27 and the second one a week ago. The post op. meds will bring the process to a close in two weeks but I am so pleased to be able to view all the beautiful artwork here in our online group of awesome artists, as I have never viewed it before. Everything is so clear and the colors are absolutely outstanding, and the nicest part is that I no longer require eye glasses. I love seeing all the new digital art sheets that I am so fortunate to receive, almost daily, and today I present a brand new art piece that I have created with a new image from June at DEZINAWORLD and believe me I am so pleased to be able to see all the detail in the background without bumping up the magnifier on my computer system. Enjoy!

The greatest monumental sculpture in the ancient world, the Sphinx is carved out of a single ridge of stone 240 feet (73 meters) long and 66 feet (20 meters) high. It represents the body of a lion with the head of a king or a god.
