These are two of the beautiful NICECRANE DESIGN images I enjoyed creating with for these hand crafted cards. Antique music sheets, lots of lace, hand-stamped and lacquered flowers, gold foils, buttons and gemstones are the embellishments I selected to enhance these art pieces. Stop over at Nicecrane and see some of the gorgeous kits and collage sheets they have to offer. They are truly unique.

Handmade postcard created with an original antique music sheet background. The focal image is a vintage beauty from NICECRANE DESIGNS. I have embellished with a gold foil corner, brown satin ribbon and a grungeboard flourish that I painted with brown acrylics. The edges of the base of the postcard have been distressed with Walnut ink.

I created this card using the clock image from NICECRANE DESIGNS. The music background is torn from an antique hymnal book I have had for longer than I can remember. I stamped the flower images using Hero Arts rubber, colorized them with Copics and lacquered them with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (UTEE).

FEELING BLUE? FLOURISH WITH FLOWERS
This time of the year I like to reorganize my studio area to find all the fun and treasured items that I know I should be using....There are so many things on the market now that inspire us but sometimes there are wonderful items just waiting for us to get back to them. I often tell my husband that I will have to live to be at least two hundred years old to use all the awesome items that I have "collected"...(smile). That is, of course, providing I don't add more new items to the "pile"..but, we all know that is not fun, we must feed our passions. Wishing you all the best in the coming year and I encourage you to add some of the "old" with the "new".
