What a gorgeous collage! It is an interesting exercise to research the origins of the very old nursery rhymes, especially most of those in Mother Goose, because many have very violent and sometimes political origins. Nursery rhymes were used to veil comments which would have seen people branded as traitors!! (GAYLE - YOU HAVE LABELLED YOUR GOTHIC ARCH AS SUNDAY POSTCARD - THOUGHT YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW)
