4X4 FRIDAY - BELTANE aka MAY DAY

Beltane depicted the turmoil of the times in a variety of countries, including the late 1940's and early 1950's when gatherings were trying to repress the threat of Communism after the Second World War. In later years, in many areas, these gatherings were also known as May Day Gatherings. Some were happier times than others.
