I agree with Hermine. The B&W border is most unusual in vintage, and it works SO well! This is a lovely piece. He makes me sort of want to tip his hat and say "lighten up!".

What a dapper gentleman! I love the black/white border too. I see he attended the Columbia Expo in Chicago in 1893. Have you read "The Devil in the White City"? Really interesting look at behind the scenes goings-on at the Exposition.
