Peeling Paint art created on canvas, utilizing, gel medium, petroleum Jelly and acrylic paints.

MIXED MEDIA MONDAY - BEADS IN YOUR ART

As part of the Design team, I created this wall hanging (approx. 8 x 10") with collage images from TEN TWO STUDIOS - embellished with beads.

As well, I created this piece of tag art using tags and images from TEN TWO STUDIOS using beads for embellishing.

Matchboxes painted inside and out with acrylic paints

Embellished with German Scrap, Metal picture frames, gemstones and gemstone brads.

Although my matchboxes were photo'd closed, each holds a miniature deck of playing cards.

CHERRY DELIGHT BITS AND PIECES

An art piece using a bingo card, tags, images and inchies;
a covered pill container topped with a bottle cap with an image insert; and
a "What-Not" decorated wooden box, painted with acrylics.

SATURDAY WORKOUT - CRAZY BACKGROUNDS

Perhaps my background could be characterized as "crazy" but I think it is "fun".....
I created this background using Paper towels. Painted the paper towels using Daler-Rowney's Pearlescent Liquid acrylics....different paper towels will give you different texture effects.

LOTS TO DO CHALLENGE - BOXES

Theme: Boxes
I altered this paper mache' box using various stamping techniques. Wooden doll heads were used for feet and knob for the lid. Embellished with fibers and decorative tag.

SATURDAY WORKOUT - MAKE A SHRINE

Theme: Make a Shrine
I created this shrine by rusting an old Altoid tin and using that as the receptical for my rusted and found objects.
